As we all hunker down and fear for our safety it is essential that we consider those who are truly at risk, the elderly and those with chronic disease. For those of us who are young and in good health, this is dangerous, but unlikely to kill us. For your 81 year old neighbor or the man up the street with emphysema, this is a killer. They need our help.

Note to any elderly or chronically ill neighbors:
If you are at all concerned about going out of your home during the outbreak, my kids and I are available this week to pickup items at local stores, run errands, or walk your dog. I expect that others in the neighborhood would be available as well. If you need help or are available to help, just let me know.
